I got a new notebook.

Doesn't look much from the outside....

but open it up.....

It's little touches like this that I love! The brand is called teNeues. I found a load of their diarys and notebooks in a little shop nearby called Paper Plane. I must say I'm not a fan of the brands website - I don't think it does their products justice at all.....oh well!

Got loads more to write about over the next few days!

I won this dress!

This is the Motel dress I won from Memoirs of a Wardrobe a few weeks ago!! I finally have a pic of me wearing it!! I feel I look quite short in this pic but I don't mind. Adam thinks I look cute :)

I wore it with 120 denier maroon tights, and brown brogues from Topshop. I'm a bit of a slave to Topshop if I'm honest.

Gym session yesterday was good - lots of 20kg barbell walking lunges, 20kg bench press for 3 sets of 10 reps and lots of other things. Those are the 2 I'm feeling today though!!! Ouch! Spin and circuits classes tonight will sort me out though!

I'll hopefully get some pics with my new camera soon that are worth sharing, I'll just need to figure out how to upload them :/

Bye for now xx

Here is a picture of it taken from the Nikon website (I refuse to take another photo with my iPhone!)

Busy week!

When I decided to get into blogging I never actually realised how much time it can take up! That said I'm still doing it.

I haven't posted since Thursday :O I've been so so busy and should actually be doing work right now, but I'll call it a tea break.

So on Thursday night, Emma came over for dinner. I was going to cook something fancy but by the time we got to the shop we opted for pizza, garlic bread and mini waffles! Carb overload! But it was so good!

We found Copella Winter Warmer juice in Waitrose and decided we had to have it. It has apple juice and spices and it should be drunk hot. Then we discovered cinnamon men biscuits reduced to 3p each! So we had one of them each too. If you do ever come across Copella Winter Warmer juice, you have to buy it! It's so yummy!

On Friday I headed down to my Mom's house, to stop off en route to the Midlands for my Auntie Jean's birthday party.  It's about a 5 hour journey from her house and she was driving us there :) so myself and my mother (both quite small) and her man Vic and Adam (both very tall) squashed into the car and set off. I didn't get told off for talking too much like I usually do but it's probably only because I was concentrating on my knitting!!

My friend Richard just moved down there too so we visited him for lunch and then had a drink in a beer garden - it was like a summers day down there for us! Lovely.

Then it was time to party! We had curry buffet (yum yum) and Jean had the most amazing cake. It had 'afternoon tea' on it. <3

I wore my dress that I won from Memoirs of a Wardrobe - don't have any pictures yet as only had my iPhone camera and the lighting was bad and none of anyone else's have showed up yet.

Sunday was Nan and Gramps visiting day. They are both in hospital but due to get home very soon, they are ok though, just getting old.

Monday was personal trainer day. I squatted 30kg for 10 reps and am so proud of myself! Legs are still killing me though!

And lastly, yesterday I worked for 12 hours and did not much else.

Right now I'm quite cold and can't feel my feet.

I wonder if anyone actually bothered to read my ramblings. I might start to run competitions on here if I get more followers.

Moustache.

I came across this on Monday evening. It made me laugh and I like it lots.

I like Freddie Mercury. He had a fantastic moustache. Actually, I love Freddie Mercury. Perhaps too much. Oh well.

Waiting on Emmett (Emma) arriving so we can have soya vanilla lattes :) yum yum.

I'm going to Birmingham on Saturday. It's my Auntie's birthday so we're having a big family dinner and it'll be amazing :) I always get told off for talking too much in the car though. Apparently journeys should be peaceful. I can't help it if I get bored. And on a grammar note, I have not spelt auntie's wrong. I refer to one as auntie, so I'm not wrong, ha!

In Brummieland, I also get to visit my dear friend Richard. He moved there some months ago for one of those job things. Quite looking forward to seeing him too.

This post is ridiculously disjointed, but that's how it's flowing just now!

Sunday Stroll

I haven't blogged for a few days as I had a migraine on Thursday and Friday. Anyway, I wanted to share some photos of a walk Adam and I went on last Sunday at Drumlanrig Castle.

Today I went into town and bought a skirt from Topshop. I'm going to style it up over the next few days. I'm also dying to style up my new dress that I won from MOAW. I need new brown brogues to go with it though, as my feet have gone down a size and my old ones are too big now!

I've also just started knitting a cardigan for my Gramps. I hope I get it finished in time for Christmas!

General Rant

Why do buses have to be so manky? Is it just Glasgow buses? Is it just the number 23 in Glasgow? Or am I being to fussy? I'm pretty sure it's not the latter.

There always seems to be someone who is high or drunk regardless of the time of day on the bus. And there's always at least one person who seems to be unaware of the existence of showers. There's simply no need.

Just this morning a friend of mine reported seeing a man picking his nose and wiping it on the window. Again, no need.

Every morning and evening when I get on the bus I sit down, put my headphones in and think about the public transport in Amsterdam, Geneva and the wee bit in France that is by Geneva. For a start the buses are clean and smooth. There is no need for a sports bra on your journey to and from work. There are no junkies, drunks or neds threatening everybody or talking about who they've stabbed.

I sure am painting a nice picture of Glasgow!

On the other hand, Glasgow is filled with the most amazing little shop and bars. Please don't let this put you off Glasgow, just if you do visit, don't get the bus!
